Lab

Kyoto Fermentation Lab is a hands-on experience for anyone interested in learning about healthy Japanese foods and fermented foods in particular (miso, soy, koji, natto, etc.) and how to incorporate these foods into meals.

In addition to learning about these healthy foods you will also help to prepare your own healthy meal that (weather permitting) you will take with the instructor to the close-by river for a picnic lunch.

The Lab experience is run by a Japanese certified Clinical Nutritionist who was born and educated in Japan and who can instruct and converse in Japanese and English.
